'Idle Hands'

Brief:
In the preparation for the release of Windows 8, Sony developed a series of touch screen products that were designed to get the most from Windows 8. They approached us to develop a digital campaign to build awareness and interest around VAIO Touch products.

What we did:
Our key aim was to put the concept of ‘touch’ top of mind and build a strong connection between touch and VAIO among key audiences. So, we created a six episode online series called ‘Idle Hands’, which we developed in collaboration with the writers of the world-renown online comic: Cyanide and Happiness.

To support the launch, we also developed an in-depth social media strategy for the 20 markets across Europe that the videos were launched in. The toolkit provided enabled each country’s social media manager to maximize their levels of audience engagement using the campaign assets that we created.
